"ADDA’s set of IRR is now finalized, and on June 13, 2017, the revised IRR will be published. This means that RA 10913 will be implemented later this month, or 15 days after its publication."

Hopefully maimplement ng tama, and ma-inform ng tama lahat ng motorists, public man or private.

Since ok na yung first step na ginawa nila, fini-nalize na muna nila yung scope ng ADDA, para alam nila kung anu ididiscuss nila sa mga tauhan nila, and eventually para malinaw din sa public lahat ng bawal, nang hindi na maulit yung nakaraan na mismong tauhan nila di alam yung bawal hehe.

A sneak peek of what the upcoming revised IRR would be like. For one, it seems to only cover "handheld communications and entertainment devices". Dashcams are NOT included, so are built-in car entertainment and infotainment systems. Mobile phones used for navigation can be mounted on top of the dashboard for as long as it is in landscape orientation and no more than "3 inches taller than the highest point of the middle section of the dashboard".

One particular gray area is the "one-swipe or one-press motion" typically required when answering hands-free/speakerphone calls.

Most dashcams won't fit behind the rear view mirror ... also if we are talking about line of sight from the driver's perspective, the area behind the right side of the rear view mirror should be larger ...

Hassle just bought from Lazada a rear view mirror clip for my dashcam, because the suction cup that came with it would often fall.

Based on the diagram, di pala pwede to & have to go back to the suction cup to place it behind the rear view mirror?

How about cars with voice commands like Android Auto / Carplay capable cars saka ford sync 2/3 radios. I can send text and call someone handsfree using voice command naman... Bawal din kaya?

Hulihin ka pag nakita ka nila nagsasalita sa loob ng oto? Hehe

Buti na lang at pwede kong i-mount yung action cam ko sa taas ng dashboard dahil pasok naman sa 4in safe zone. Yun na lang ipapalit ko sa dashcam. Yung Rosary na lang kaylangang ma-clarify kung bawal or hindi.

Ford Sync is good. How do you sync two phones both active?

Di pede sir. One at a time lang. Sync uses bluetooth tech while AA / carplay via USB cable.

the curved accessory rear view mirrors are a foot wide.
and if one can adapt the VW kombi's elephant ears side mirror into a rear view...

amy, many years ago, when accessory clip-on rear views were not yeat in style... we had a good laugh at our qaqilala, whose rear view unexpectedly broke, and, as he was in a hurry to go, got his bathroom shaving mirror (8 x 12) and taped it to the inside of his car...!
