In relation to the Port decongestion, it will take several months for things to "normalize".
On C5 - Katipunan Road, it will be the same unless they also ban trucks during school hours. May truck ban nga but it's lifted during hours of the day that coincide with the school hours so thus you have trucks clogging the road together with the cars during dismissal times.
Napansin ko lang na simula nung nawala na yung truck ban sa Coastal Road mas lalo nagtraffic bute na lang at palagi na nakabukas yung daanan papuntang Marina.
before erap's ban, during window period, UN ave was full of trucks going to the pier, from otis to the right turn.
when erap banned these trucks, UN avenue opened up to "smaller vehicles" during window periods.
today, with the lifting, UN ave still is not saturated like before erap..
i am not sure if this is because of the ban, or because of the threat of heavy fine for colorum trucks (which i believe to be in the majority... heh heh).
during then ban, 35 minutes biyahe ko from mckinley hills to abad santos blumentrit pero ngayon nadagdagan ng 10 minutes at medyo masikip na sa osmena.
