Can I use my new car even without the new license plates?

ask ko lang, if i can drive our new car kahit wala pang plates? 1 week na since we got the car from the dealer. Sabi kasi ng dealer, mga 2 weeks pa daw bago lumabas yung plates... so does that mean, di namin magamit yung car until dumating yung plates?

just in case, get an extension from Lto, which last for 1 week,cost you 282 petot.Dont know if you have to get a request for an extension from the dealer.or you could just get direct from Lto.

guys, thanks sa mga replies nyo. the car is now 2 weeks old, and just to be safe, we opted to just park the car in the house until the plates become available. hirap na baka ako pa ang mapag-tripan na unahin sa pag-resume ng "no plate no travel" policy nila.

ah, pwede pala kumuha ng extension! i guess, we have to get in touch with the dealer for this.

Like sabi ni DocPete, hingi ka nang extension sa LTO. They give out one-week extension. In my case, it took me around 3 weeks before my plates came out so twice ako kumuha nang extension. Mga around P300 nga ito.
Since bako car ko nun, I can't waste it parked in my garage. I had to drive it around.
And even though armed ako with documents just in case parahin ako nang pulis, wala naman pumara sa akin.
It was my brother-in-law who worked in Honda, who arranged the extension of the plates.

pwede ka kumuha ng iba't ibang DR (delivery Receipts) from your agent.
yan ang ginawa ko... my plate took 4 weeks.. so i have 4 different DRs.
i was once asked about my plates and i just showede them my papers together with the latest DR. (just throw away yung mga expired na DRs and keep those "pre" DRs)

this is what toyota cubao is doing kung hindi available yun plate but dont rely on it, nangyari na sa amin toh. nahuli ako ng mmda tapos pinakita ko yun ni renew na O.R. pero di pa rin nakalusot kasi sa conduction sticker nakita nila yun release date the auto. malas lang - bayad 200 kesa abala...

we tried asking our agent about it pero di na raw sila nagbibigay. Btw, the dealer is also Toyota Cubao. Coding yung isang car namin so no choice but to use the new car today kahit wala pang plates.

sir i dont recommend you use your brand spanking new car without the plates. well unang una. security reasons. dami po mga loko loko ngayon. mas madali mag takas ng car without plates kasi lagyan lang nila ibang plates ok na.

Pwede mo nang gamitin even without the plate. Anyway, yung "'No Plate, No Travel Policy" ay nasa isang tabi na.

Ang problema mo lang ay pag nakita ka ng mga gutom na enforcers.
