Heard about the 12% tax for Private Cars?

Just heard in the news lang last two days ago. By April 12% tax will be implement for private cars. Totoo ba ito? What will happen to us private cars owner? Susme another pasakit sa bulsa!

Thanks ito nga yata yun! Bilis kasi nung news,di ko tuloy naintindihan mabuti. Means tataas ang toll fee? Where naman mapupunta itong 12%?Sa govt? eh di ba privately managed ang SLEX? Ano man ito,dagdag gastos again for nothing in retun!

Luxury Tax? haven't heard of that for local implementation... and yes, 12% VAT is already inclusive in the prize.

lahat ng imported car ay mayroong ng duty tax. iba-iba ang classification. I think mayroon din itong additional na VAT. luxury cars, if i remember correctly, it has 100% duty tax. iba rin ang tax ng 6 cylinders at sports cars.
