LTO: No Color Indicated

Hi Tsikoteers, I'm a newbie here and planning to buy a 2nd hand car.

I was eyeing on this 2nd hand car and tried to check with LTO via texting 2600 if its registration is updated and free from apprehension and alarm, and hooray it's clear from those!

But I noticed that it also says "Color: No Color Indicated"..

Is it safe to buy a 2nd har with this kind of status with LTO?

It is okay but it still still better to have to it checked at the LTO office (not via it's online systems).

may nabasa po ako sa ibang forum ito sabi nila doon...

"sa mga color na ” NOT INDICATED”… you can verify the real color of the vehicle doon sa first LTO District Office kung saan siya unang pina register minsan kasi during the computerization eh hindi nila naipasok yung color pero wala namang problema kung not indicated yung kulay good pa nga yan kasi pwede ka mag palit palit ng kulay… unlike doon sa mga vehicle na naka indicate yung kulay hindi ka pwede mag palit basta basta if mag papalit ka dadaan pa sa proseso…"

totoo po ba ito pwede ako papalit papalit kulay kapag no color indicated? wala ba penalty or consequence ito?
