Onboarding is on July and I'm starting to scout for parking slots available for me. Shift would be ~8am-5pm. A friend told me that LKG building beside Smart offers whole day parking at a flat rate of 125 pesos. Do I have other (cheaper) options?

The P125 per day is already good if it's covered and secured parking. Have you checked the open lots behind Philam Tower? Try also along San Agustin Street if there are still open parking lots as these used to charge around 90 per day (although i'd avoid the parking lots which require you to leave your keys).

I really save quite a lot since i have parking where i work.

check mo yung location nung parking slots sa LKG.. basement parking ba? baka naman masyadong malalim.. mahirap lumabas pag rush hour..

Well for a fresh grad like me, I don't think Smart will be generous enough to offer me a free slot. During my application process, I'd usually park at Valero. They have roofed slots but it's first come, first serve.

According to my friend, sa taas daw yung free for all. Basement slots are for VIPs.

if you want to save on parking costs and dont mind walking. try parking at greenbelt 3 area (the basement parking).

when i was parking at the dela rosa carpark, my daily parking rate is around 150 pesos per day.
sa greenbelt, around 90 - 100 pesos per day lang.

Try mo makipag unahan sa first come first serve if it's cheaper tapos may covered part. Go to work early (Leave the house mga 6am) then sleep in the car. When i was starting i would do that as it would only take 15-20mins from the Katipunan area to Makati (via Santolan) then i'd sleep for another hour or so in the car (engine off, open parking and malamig pa naman in the morning... i just turn up the A/C to really cool the car before i park).

How long ago was this?

Not bad already as long as you don't put in long, 15 hour workdays.

I checked the distance, malayong lakad pala. Baka mahirap lalo na kapag umuulan.

Being a fresh grad, i would think the cost of parking and gasoline would eat up a good percentage of your pay. Mahirap ba mag commute from where you live? Some people i know would park sa shangrila or centris sa quezon ave then would take the mrt. Tipid sa parking and gas yun.

Then again if money is no object, mura na yun 125 for its proximity to smart and covered pa yun. PBCom basement parking is 130 for the whole day.

P40 for first 4 hours then P10 for the succeeding hours. 100 ang maximum na babayaran. Medyo mabilis nga lang mapuno. 7:30 pa lang, ubos na. Word of advise lang, since less than 20k ang salary mo (since fresh grad ka at mukhang cadet ang position mo), it's much economical to use public transport na lang. Nakakangalay sa binti (A/T or M/T) ang stop and go sa Valero. Maganda lang magdala ng sasakya every holiday and sat since libre ang parking sa side streets.

edit: since taga Nova ka, try parking your car na lang sa Trinoma. 45 pesos lang for whole day. Thanks!

Yes sir I've actually tried that MRT-jeep way you mentioned when I was an intern at BDO. Right now, I'm just trying to explore all options available. And I will not be paying for gas and maintenance, if ever. But thanks for your advice sir!
