It's anarchy in the streets nowadays.
Just watching the news, many motoriders do not have driver license.... Many who commit violations are rarely held accountable because they claim poverty as their excuse.

Just like the kadamay members who occupied houses illegally because they cant afford one. Tyranny of the poor.

One commenter in James Deakin's page said that Motorcycle riders DO NOT use brakes. This is so true! They just expect other vehicles to stop for them. What if the reflex of the car/bus/truck is slow? Patay sila.

As per the video, all three passengers had no helmets and under the influence of alcohol. This is not only reckless but outright stupid. They rammed the taxi as if they have not seen it on the road. These guys were asking for it.

Kawawa yung taxi driver. Malamang sya sinisisi.

Make comprehensive insurance mandatory for all vehicles on the road and you can count to cut those motorcycles by more than half. The question is who would enforce it. Eh di nga ma-check kung may mga lisensya ang mga ito.

LTO should have more teeth and not just making money out of un-issued paid-for license plates and license ID cards. I don't even know if LTO has any idea how to differentiate a real license ID card over a counterfeit one.

Where's the law on drunk driving? Has anyone been charged or his/her license suspended for drunk driving?

I think we need more pnp police riders. I think they only number under 3000 in metro manila? that should be 15000. Check points for mc riders only?

This will be discrimination. Despite that, we all know in many police checkpoints, they only stop motorcycle riders and check papers and not car/cage drivers.

As a disclosure, Im a motorcycle commuter and a cage driver as well. Depends on the day if I'll ride or drive.

I also agree though that there are responsible motorcycle riders but many are not. Even when I'm riding a motorcycle, I see a lot of riders simply asking for an accident. Tsk Tsk.

Proper enforcement of the law should help in minimizing these incidents. If not, then Darwin's theory should work eventually.

Traveling around 40kph at the left most lane in C5 near Eastwood this MC overtook me on my left and had to brake hard as there was an obstruction he didn't see. I couldn't brake at all as a car was tailgating me. Guy then passed me on the right and tried to cut me (poor effort really) and then gave me the finger. What a specimen.

Along Aguirre avenue in BF Homes, two MC riders were counterflowing on my lane. I gave them a short burst of my horn. One veered right back to their lane while the other stayed on and gave me the finger. These folks just lack road courtesy. Some are even brave enough clamoring for respect when most of them have no sense of it all.

also had almost same incident of counterflow sa village namin, its police riding an MC, counterflowing for no apparent reason. wala naman obstacle sa lane nya, talagang gusto lang ako salubungin at ipakita na astig sya kahit MC lang sya.

thats the excuse... discrimination. criminals use mcs. gun & license checkpoints every corner of metro manila for mcs only.

discipline these 10m mc riders. the new 1m riders included.
