Illegal Change of Color/Impounding Fee Per Day at Camp Crame's TMG/HPG

my car was impounded last Dec 20 2008 due to non registration. Nag-expire kasi registration on July 2008. Since hindi naman masyadong ginagamit yung car, we decided not to register muna since our family is in a financial crunch. On dec, due to xmas errands/rush, we needed it and used it. We were caught along buendia by TMG/HPG.

actually, mapapakiusapan ko pa naman sana (without lagay kasi mukhang mabait naman yung nakahuli) pero when they double checked sa lto txt msg service, wrong color daw. my car looked goldish but in the lto OR and CR, it was silver. i never changed the color. i questioned this when i bought the car 2 years earlier from Norkis. they said, no problem daw yun kasi yun yung silver ng Norkis, mukha daw talagang goldish. since then, wala naman akong naging problema except yun nga hindi ko naregister ng 2008 tapos nahagip pa yung illegal change of color.

my questions are:
1. how much ang impounding fee sa camp crame? kasi dec 2008 pa yun up to now nandun pa din? any first hand experiences.
2. can i sue the car company (Norkis) for allegedly giving me falsified documents?

i dont know about the impounding costs, pero, i think it would be best for you to go to norkis first, get a certification of the color and submit it to TMG. masyado pa atang maaga para pagusapan ang demandahan at this point.

IIRC Php 5000 flat rate then i forgot how much per month or a fraction thereof.

Naku sayang naman sir bat ka nag pa impound sana pinakiusapan na lang. most likely hindi na bababa sa 10,000 babayaran mo niyan.

ps iyung sa change color wag mo alalahanin un, tama si sir 1D4LV kuha ka lang cert sa norkis ok na un maliliwanagan na TMG dun
