how long did you get your car plates

i got my car saturday .. i was stopped kanina in makati .. pinalampas dahil bago .. pero how long does it usually come out !? .. it took 3 months doon sa kotse ko dati .. bumilis na ba yung LTO in issuing the car plates ?

Depends on the availability of plates, if you choose a specific last digit. On our X-trail it took around 2-3weeks. In our Revo mga 2 months

Wah! 2 weeks and still waiting. Kainis. I picked the ending 5 since yun naman talaga nirerelease pag may diba.. (AFAIK). Ang tagal ko na nga ng waiting nung car ko, di ko pa magamit dahil walang plaka.

Can I get something from LTO para pwede gamitin in the mean time?

me too. 2 wks and counting. dealer called knina, nagkakaubusan n raw ng 5 ending plates. kya he was asking kung ok lng 1,2,3,4 ako pili. kya lng, d pwede kse ung van namin 2, tpos ung sa car pool namin 4. pag kumuha k nman ng 6,7,8,9,0 may addtl pa na 1,500 - 2th. bkt? pra saan po kaya un? eh dba 3yrs registratn na ung bnayaran mo upfront when u buy the car?

yung additional na babayaran if you get a plate ending in 67890 is for the additional registration fee. magiging more than 1 yr kasi ang parang expiry ng registration mo. kahit extended lang ng 1 month, you will have to pay half year's registration fee.

I'd imagine mga two weeks -- that's how long the sales agent took to acquire the plates before we claimed the unit from the showroom. Tinanong pa ako kung meron akong special request. Sabi ko lang, huwag yung Monday coding kasi first day of the week, huwag din Friday coding para magamit sa gimikan, kaya "5" yung binigay sa akin na ending.

When we bought a car last month, 1 week... but it got extended to two weeks because we had the plate changed (we specified when we closed the deal that we wanted the "Z" prefix but they gave us a "X" Prefix).

Estimate naman daw samin mga next week makukuha so mejo intay na lang muna ako. Sana makuha ko na (sana ikaw rin) talaga next week!

mali pala ako the 1st time. it only took me 1 & 1/2 weeks lng pla to get the plates. Nakuha na knina lunchtym! yey! "Z" prefix pa and 5 and ending. just what i needed.
