(Update No. 3—5:47 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15) On Friday, Aug. 15, a white sedan fell from the third level of a parking facility at the Greenhills mall area near Annapolis and Eisenhower Streets in San Juan City.
According to dzMM's Edwin Sevidal, initial reports from the Philippine National Police say the accident happened at around 3:10 p.m. today.
Barangay Greenhills Captain Alan Yam said an elderly man may have suffered a heart attack while driving the ill-fated car.
The driver had bumped several cars before falling from the third floor, said Yam.
The car landed on two other cars, but no one was injured. A passenger from one of the two cars managed to exit before the sedan landed, said Sevidal.
No vehicles can enter the accident area at this time.
Sevidal said drivers should avoid the Greenhills area near O.B. Montessori, Virra Mall, and Club Filipino.

Driver was complaining about cheat pains and has a pacemaker daw. Stepped on the gas instead of brakes.

Bawal mag drive kung na heart bypass surgery...
73yo driver in Greenhills car accident faces charges
By Coconuts Manila, 18 Aug 2014 02:45
He really should have just hired a driver.
"Juanito Nocos, vice president for sales of Solar Entertainment's Basketball TV, has been identified as the 73-year-old man whose car plunged three stories from a multilevel parking building of the Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan last Friday, August 15," reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.
Police said that Nocos, who had undergone a heart bypass surgery and had pacemaker, should not have been driving in the first place because under Land Transportation Office (LTO) regulations, those who have undergone bypass surgery are prohibited from driving.
The report noted: "Cathy Ko, general manager of the Shopping Center Division of Ortigas & Co., said in a television interview that Nocos was trying to back out of his parking slot when he passed out and crashed into several vehicles before breaching the car park wall. Nocos survived the fall and sustained bruises. He was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center where he is in stable condition. The car’s airbag saved him from severe injuries."
The report added that a total of nine vehicles were damaged during the accident—five cars on the third level of the parking building and four more vehicles on the ground floor.
Nocos has claimed that he "blacked out" while he was trying to back out of his parking slot.
