traffic because of the EDSA DOS celebrations happening at edsa shrine and the protest rallies that will be happening today too.

I don't think declaring a holiday today will be a responsible response. Most affected areas would be:

-immediate EDSA Shrine area
-People Power monument at EDSA
-Cubao where protesters are gathering before marching to EDSA Shrine
-Mendiola (as if that's any surprise)

sobrang traffic sa east avenue, timog, kamuning, e. rodriguez sr./new manila area... holy mother of god. it took me 45 minutes to travel 1.5 km in this area!, and to think that other roads are even more gridlocked! at syempre, sobra ring daming mga gago sa daan ngayon kasi traffic, at ewan ko ba't tatanga-tanga rin yung mga bobong MMDA!

times like this... you need to migrate :evil:

oh, OT lang...

bakit pa ba iginugunita ang Edsa II? what an incredibly shameless act... the ideals of Edsa II have been forgotten since 2001 pa... since then, the country has gone from bad to worse (and everyone thought 2000 was the worst a year can get!).

to the politicos: celebrate Edsa II by cracking down on what needs to be cracked down and enacting reforms, hindi yung symbolic na commemoration lang that inconviniences thousands of motorists anyway :evil:

kanina umaga, mga 8am, i was expecting very heavy traffic sa south super hi-way north bound. but to my surprise, wala!! as in wala! from alabang to bicutan wala! sabi nga namin ng dad ko: itsh a miracle!! :D
