hi again, gurus! what are the best practices when it comes to driving in inclined roads? madalas na nangyayari kasi is either namamatayan ako ng makina pag paandar na or umuurong ng sobra na parang kung ikaw yung nasa likod matatakot ka dahil baka tamaan ung bumper mo. baguhan lang po, mga sir.

if nde mo pa masyado gamay ang car and nde mo pa timpla ung timing ng release ng brake then apply gas, i suggest use what i usually do then.

    Hand Brake Abuse!
everytime titigil, especially if traffic sa mga flyovers, handbrake then Neutral lang. then when ready to go, depress clutch, ready the gas, then release handbrake + apply gas.. then repeat as needed. this way, safe ako na walang rear damage to my car, and hassle sa mga nasa likod ko..
then practice lang pag weekends sa pagtitiming..

the best practice is to engage the handbrake instead of doing hanging while on inclined roads.

tapos pag tatakbo na, 1st gear, tanggal ang handbrake and move forward.

be sure your clutch are always in good condition.kahit ano galing ng driver pag walang "laro" ang clutch or may diperensiya ito like matigas o sliding eh talagang mahihirapan din sa mga hanging situation.

hanging burn out you clutch and wastes fuel.. not to mention premature wear-and-tears...

kaya handbrake nalang kayo bago umabante sa incline.

edit: mas madali pang mag-handbrake than mag-hanging noh!

and if i may add, wag kang tututok sa nasa harap mo. kasi kahit yong experienced drivers minsan hindi maiwasang mamatayan o mapaatras.

ok lang pag matic naka D lang. may torque converter naman yan eh. but for longer periods, just put it into N. and brake. brake not break

better to know your car power capacity and clutch pedal adjustment.. dapat alam mo at what point your clutch will engage upon release... (you can try engaging the car in 1st gear then without pressing on the accelerator slowly release the clutch pedal so you can feel at what point it will engage, try also to move the vehicle without the engine stalling)

best practice use hand break instead of timplahan nakakangalay kasi pag timplahan tapos baka maatrasan mo pa ung nasa likuran mo one thing is you burn a lot of gas at baka masunog pa pati clutch mo magastos din magparepair unless you have lots of money to burn

hanging - best practices
