LTO windshield sticker

hi all,

I just got my plates from LTO, anybody here knows whats the real deal. I hate to put their sticker on my windshield, and am also hoping i can even remove the conduction sticker.

by law, you should display it on your windshield. what you can do is to have it laminated, and stick it on your windshield via scotch tape. there are also clips that you can buy para mai-clip lang yung sticker, without damaging your tints.

By law it has to be displayed at all times. But you can laminate it with an extra long portion under the LTO sticker so you can insert it into the gap between the windshield and dashboard. Just use thicker lamination sheets so it can stand up by itself.

on the LTO, I do believe I see a lot of cars without them on their windshield, e pano kaya kung sa likod ilagay?

you can remove it already since you got your plate na but some preferred not to touch it for a while... para mukhang brand new pa rin.

anyone here got a bad experience dahil hindi nakakabit LTO sticker sa windshield? also yung tint ko is neutral black sa windshield and superblack sa sides so baka di rin gano kita yung sticker.

well bawal talaga but for 8 years never pa ko nasita for not displaying my windshield LTO sticker sa Crosswind (neutral gray front tint). i just put it in the glove box. my MS has a medium black front tint so mas magiging useless.

mas importante kasi yung sticker mo sa plate, never mo wag ikakabit yun because enforcers are always zeroing on the plate particularly the ending.

so far, wala naman ako bad experience sa ganun. Di ko dinidikit yung sticker sa windshield, naka laminate lang siya and nakatago lang sa trunk.

ako nagkakabit na ako eh... pero since medium black yung front windshield tints ko, di rin halata.

tinatanggal ko nga lang yung luma bago ako magkabit ng bago, so hindi sya makalat.

Never pa ko nagdikit ng LTO sticker sa windshield, naka-laminate lang yung sa akin at nakatago sa globe box kasama ng photocopy ng OR/CR/insurance policy/driver's license.

Base on my experinces, on which I drive even on coding day and I do drive daily in Makati na maraming law enforcer na masipag magcheck ng mga kotse and wala pa naman sumisita na bakit wala akong LTO windshield sticker lalo na pag coding day talagang sinisita ako, as in once a week ako nasisita ng mga traffic enforcers, but never they check my LTO windshield sticker.

On conduction sticker, if you have the plates and LTO registration stickers, it is okay to remove the Conduction Stickers, madali pang tanggalin habang bago pa, yun Lancer Itlog ko di natanggal ang Conduction Sticker hanggang ngayon, di ko na rin tinanggal kasi mukhang nakamarka na sa salamin. Yun sa Innova ko natanggal ko ng buong-buo at idinikit ko na lang sa clear plastic sheet, then tinago ko.

sabi ng iba buhusan ng hot water, meron din nabibili na sticker remover sa ACe, ako last year I just peel it off, natanggal naman...

It is easier to remove it when it has been warmed up. It makes the glue under the sticker loosen up. So some people leave it under the sun for at least 15 minutes or use a heatgun or a hairdryer.

Or if you are lazy, bring your car to a shop that installs window tint. Ask the installer to remove the sticker for you and you give him a tip for the service.

We have three cars na walang LTO stickers, travelling usually Bicol to Manila, so far so good, ala naman hulu. The other unit wala pa ngang tint. Pag nanghuhuli naman kasi yung mga traffic enforcers, usually yung traffic violation ang puntirya, so lisensya mo agad ang hihingiin.

Basta bitbitin mo lang sagi sa loob ng kotse yung sticker, pag nasita ka sabihin mo meron ka, di mo lang naikabit, bahala ka na mag alibi. Di ko lang alam pag napagtripan ka ng medyo stricto na enforcer.
