Yes Indonesia implements this. All motorcycle, even large displacement bikes are required and to have plate numbers in front.

All that is fine, but if it has to be installed like a fin on the front fender, it should be designed so that it is pedestrian-friendly. In particular, the edges must be blunt so that further injury is avoided in case of an accident.

there are lotsa pictures in google.
they can be made of soft, flexible material, so's they can't harm anyone, even if intentional.

Exactly what I'm saying. But the question remins if the government agency tasked to design it has the same foresight.

Or walang helmet. Di naman hinuhuli. Ganun din. Walang pagbabago

change will not happen overnight... with strict implementation, slowly but surely we will be able to enforce discipline on these kind of users...

Yan ang problema. Strict implementation.

Hindi naman ako naka long sleeve that time at naka leather shoes.

Im a driver and a rider so I understand both world.

OT: i understand the idea you are trying to tell, you must understand for now that the enforcers are on the same level of those on sando lang and mukang messenger lang...

funny to say that traffic enforcers are enforcing a law that they have no experience with, they cant even operate a 4 wheel motor vehicle or use one to go to work to personally experience how bad the traffic is so as to suggest on how to fix on it...

and if they do use a 4 wheel vehicle, they have an idea in their minds that they are the exception to the rules (traffic rules) since they are working for the govt (which the corrupt govt the Spaniards thought us for 333 years)

birds of the same feather, flock together...

Sino ba nache-checkpoint madalas at naha-hassle sa oras at napapagkamalang kriminal? Naka kotse or naka motor?

My point is, we can always find fault to the other party. But not see any on us. If we follow the law, then change can probably happen.

Otherwise we call it anarchy.

    Just my 2 cents.

Wala atang connection sa sinasabi ko? Di ako nagrereklamo na hinuhuli ang kotse. My point is, may mga batas tayo. Mapa motor o kotse.

To me, the reason why MCs only have one license plate because you're not hard pressed to get their numbers because they're small, two-wheeled vehicle only. Personally, I'm against it, but if LTO really would force the issue, then they would leave me with no other choice but to comply with a heavy heart.

i can say this idea is useless! hindi na kaylangan lagyan ng plate sa harap ang motor, paabante naman ang direksyon, kung gusto mo makita ang plate hintayin mo nalang sya dumaan at tignan mo sa likod, or kung babalik yan tatalikod pa rin sayo yan makikita mo parin ang plate, hindi tulad ng kotse na may reverse na pwede umatras ng matulin kung ayaw ipakita sayo yung plate nya sa likod hahahah.

kalokohan yan, thats why manufacturers didnt bother to put provision for plate at the front of their motorcycles

i heard a "knowledgeable" person mention some time back, that they were afraid putting plates in front might cause the 'cycle rider to lose control when they get buffeted by the wind.

How do you design the proposed front number plates for motorcycles?
