    Malapit na magkakaroon ng plaka...yeehey.

It looks like the country's license plate woes will soon be answered after the Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced that the new license plates are expected to arrive some time in March 2018.

Recently, the government agency issued the notice of award (NOA) to the winning bidder that will produce the new license plates. The winning bidder is Trojan Computer Forms Manufacturing Corporation and J.H. Tonnjes E.A.S.T. GmbH & Co KG Joint Venture.

According to a well-placed source, the German-backed manufacturer will produce the new license plates locally with imported materials.

Yung sticker for that year sige "i-libre" na yun at tapos narin naman yung taon na yun, pero yung 450 para sa plaka, aba naman...

Land Transportation Office chief Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante clarified on Friday that the long-awaited new license plates that would be released starting March next year will only cover registrations from 2016 onward.

In an interview on "Dobol B sa News TV," Galvante said that the notice of disallowance from the Commission on Audit for an old contract covering 2013 to 2015 registrations has not yet been lifted.

LTO shouldn't inconvenience us with their incompetence.

You can find out your virtual/permanent plate number by going to LTO NCR in Araneta Ave. Just present your CR which has your MV number.

Just this LTO in particular, or to your respective LTO office where the vehicle is originally registered?

I was getting my vehicle's mortgage cancelled, which can only be done at that branch. They handed my Virtual Plate certification with my other papers. So I cannot say if other offices do the same.
