Yes point taken guys, but what about those people who had the discipline not to do drugs?
I know medyo may pagka-pilosopo pero... its like theyre rewarding those who did drugs if they prioritize ex-addicts over regular people
besides, for mission critical jobs (even traffic enforcers lang) mahirap na yung may tao kang pwedeng mag revert to old addictions.... this could very easily lead to them being corrupt, inept or even downright dangerous.
But i agree with mazda2's point that we have to give them a second chance.... sakin lang dapat walang preferential treatment ang rehabbed person. Let them be judged by their talent!
hehe, ok yan. just imagine kung bumalik dati nila habit on the job and they direct traffic! hanep sa tripping tsong!
i think the idea is noble but not fair. it is not fair because it favors one group of people over others. employment opportunities in government should be open to everyone, without any prejudices. it should be based only on merit and capability and nothing more.
giving them a second chance is ok. but i don't think giving them responsibility to direct the metro's traffic is the right job for them. ibang trabaho na lang pls. deskjob na lang kaya sa mmda?
