2008 Toyota Fortuner?

Guys heads up! A facelifted version of the Toyota Fortuner might be out soon... hopefully early this year!







They made slight changes to the headlamps and grills, and they changed the tail lamps to a transparent type. Although the interior still looks just but the same. Other website said they also added GPS navigation... but who needs it here in our country? Hehehe!

at saka yung aircon sa 3rd row nasa isang side lang?

The Fortuner here don't have, even its not so practical there in Phils to have that.

Visible Changes:

1.) New Front headlamps - LC200-like
2.) New Front grille - Gen2 Rav4-like
3.) New red + white combo on Tail lamps
4.) Updated climate-control control switch
4.) Updated stereo HU and now with WMA support
6.) Ceiling mounted third row aircon vents.
7.) VSC- Vehicle Stability Control nee traction control ??
8.) New design on wheels + upsize at 265/65R17
9.) Sat. Nav. - don't think this will make it here.
10.) New leather tone/color "Sand Beige"

The new exterior "look" can be attained by simply upgrading to the new front headlamps, rear tail lights, center grille, and new wheels. The rest are a bit more complicated and costly.

naman.. we don't need sunroofs or the navigation systems. haha! we need fuel economy! lol

buti naisipan nila maglagay ng cruise control and mejo lumaki na ang wheel size. pero sana nga may m/t ang fortuner ngayon and hopefully wala na yung mga crappy D4D issues.

Agree.

A hoped for improvement would be the suspension. With the upsized tires and without the suspension upgrade, ride quality would only get worse.

A hoped for option would be the manual tranny.

I like the new mags and it is a very good idea to move the rear A/C vents from the right side of the 3rd row to the ceiling. I just wish it would come with revised rear suspension tuned for riding comfort.

an all new will come up after 5 or more years depending on the demand so matagal tagal pa yan… for the meantime facelift upgrade muna but be prepared dahil di lang looks ang face lifted dyan syempre pati price

And yes, a m/t tranny option including the 3.0V like their hi-lux will be a good and wiser option

like the vios and corolla altis, i wouldn't be surprised that the new innova and this fortuner to retain its engine but on a new shell.

Still the same. It can never fold flat because of the live axle underneath.

pinaka functional na change e yung aircon vents for the 2nd and 3rd rows. mukha nang land cruiser ang lights. pwede na. magkano naman kaya itataas ng presyo?

Ganda lalo ng mukha! with the projector type headlamp - mas naungusan ang RAV 4.
