    Gandang Umaga!

    I'm new here and would like to solicit advise from you guys on where I could have my newly acquired BJ40 TLC set up with a spring over? got a limited budget too, and i also need an idea how much it would cost me.

    welcome to tsikot.

    a cheap method would be an extended shackles,
    btw a stock BJ40 can accomodate a 35" tires. ask olive drab.

    dito lang ako sa quezon city.

    Mine's colored yellow.

    oo nga, madami pa gagastusin. but at least, gawa na body at engne. all it needs is the tune up.

    mahal din pala weather strips sa doors and window. sinira ng pintor eh.

    Medyo malaking trabaho ang SOA. Better go with taller shackles or yung reverse shackles na engineered and manufactured ni Cong Marni sa San Fernando (kimpOy knows how to reach him). Mas mura pa siguro lalaba yun.

    buti naman may kasama na akong naka LC40 dito.
    dito rin sa san fernando, pampanga si kong marni.
    yung shop siguro kina kong obet.

    they can even convert your leaf springs into coils springs.
    and above all kong obet is a 4x4 freak by heart.

    anything regarding your LC40.

    Usually sa LCCP and yung mga pinang kakarera " saginaw power steering"ang nilalagay nilang power steering matibay and nilalagyan nilang ng maliit na intercooler para sa fluid ng power steering. matibay saktong sakto sa BJ 40 :D

    sabi nila galing sa muscle car yung "saginaw power steering box"

    read in some tech articles that saginaw power steering comes from old vehicles such as the chevy Impala and the GM Scout - think those were the big trucks running around in the 70's.

    isasama ko na rin yung p/s conversion sa project ko. sana ok pa sa budget.

    Yup Yup usually you will use the saginaw power steering using 33" - 38 " tyres.

    rode one BJ 40 using 35" m/t dick cepek tyres suave ang steering kahit 360 and otso otso heheh :D

    one mechanic in banawe recommended the power steering kit of L300. ok kaya yun? i only have the thirty inch tires.
