Toyota Vios 1.3E M/T (1st gen) problem

Hello po sa inyo!

First time ko po dito sa forums na ito kasi po ay nalilito na talaga ako kung saan pwede humingi ng mga advice tungkol po sa auto ko.
Nabili ko po sya ng 2nd hand. And problema ko po eh poor idling at yung hatak. Parang nahihinaan po ako sa bilis kahit solo lang ako na kelangan binobomba pa yung accelerator para bumilis. Ok naman po ang takbo from 1-3 gear kaso pagdating ng 4 eh kelangan na nga bombahin ang accelerator.

Does the car rev all the way to the rpm redline on the low gears? Is your car m/t or a/t? When do you shift to 4th gear (speed and rpm)?

Since you just bought the car, have the following been done?
1. Change oil + oil filter
2. Tune-up (replace spark plugs)
3. Replace fuel filter
4. Replace air filter
5. Clean the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor (with electric contact cleaner)
6. Check the clutch (sliding or not); replace clutch fluid
7. Replace coolant
8. Replace gear oil (or ATF)
9. Check drive belts

Sir, malapit na po ako mag 110000 km, dun po ako mag papachange oil at papatune-up.
Manual tranny po yung vios ko. Hindi ko pa po napapalitan yung fuel filter kasi sabi po nung mekaniko eh ok pa naman daw.
Yung air filter naman po pinamodified ko simota po ang pinalit ko. May epekto po kaya yun? Sabi po kasi sa akin may certain level daw dapat ang MAF sensor dahil pag nagalaw daw po yun eh magbabago ang takbo. Totoo po ba?
Yung clutch naman po kapapalit ko lang last year (september if i am not mistaken).
Sa gear oil at drive belts po wala pa din ako ginagalaw.

Pag nagshift po ako ng 4th gear usually 50-60 kph galing ng 3rd gear.
Ang RPM po eh within 2k-3k

may pagbabago talaga pag binago mo ung air intake ,,or ung air filter mo..malaki pag babago..kaya kailangan mo pa tune up..or ipasilip mo ung timing sa may roong timing ligth,,,para ma adjust ung tamang timing...

parang nalulunod sa hangin ah...galit na makina ayaw pang humatak...pasilip mo timing makukuha din yan,,,ganyan nangyari sa akin nung nagpalit ako ng air filter simota..una cahnge oil,fuel filter,,saka nga ung simota..nung una dismayado ako..

pero nung nakapa ko na ung tamang tono ayun sarap humataw...

copy sir! pag magpapachange oil na ako eh isasabay ko na.
nga pala sir yung "timing light/ligth" po ba eh sa casa lang o pwede na sa ordinaryong mekaniko?

And have your throttle body cleaned. WD40 lang ginagamit ko pang-buga .. Good na.
