Starting this thread for news/rumors regarding the next gen Avanza

    Toyota Avanza - Wikipedia

The all-new 2022 Toyota Avanza's W100 model code revealed, could shed light on next-gen Alza |WapCar

Without getting into the nitty gritty details, the forum post seemingly confirms the earlier rumours: the next-generation Toyota Avanza will be fitted with a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre 2NR-VE petrol engine mated either to a CVT-type automatic or a five-speed manual transmission. These codes also revealed that a left-hand drive version of the next-gen Avanza is in the works as well.

when a colleague complained that his avanza's passenger seating was cramped,
    another colleague quipped,
    "get an innova".

    another added,
"you don't know cramped, until you get an older gen swift."

    'daming pilosopo saming upisina.
    heh heh.

    i wonder,
is the rush selling well nowadays?

The smaller engine might only be reserved on the Daihatsu Xenia (Rebadged Avanza).

better for us consumers. pero in a way this may further cannibalize their own sales of the rush. lalo at naging mas refined ang avanza pero who am i to say. hula ko lang naman yun hehe
