15k increase for the HU upgrade.

Almost 80k for the 2.5G, for the upgraded engine and HU. Hmm. Medyo mahal but at least malaking improvement.

So the GPS & DVD will only be available on the 4x4 Fortuner model.

4x2 variants Fortuner won't have this?

All Fortuner models nga daw. 2.5G, 2.7G and 3.0V.

For the Hilux, only the 3.0G 4x4 will get it.

    1.381M for the 2.5L D4D Fortuner.

Thought TMP would release something that would battle with the ever-affordable GLX Non-VGT Montero. Pero puwede na yan. For roughly 200k more, you get something more good-looking.

Marami namang dagdag dun sa 200k na yun:

    - Side-mirror turn signal indicators
    - Projector HID w/ auto leveling
    - Power retractable side mirrors
    - Leather steering wheel w/ audio controls
    - Leather seats, shift knob, door trim
    - Automatic climate control
    - Optitron gauges

I thinks its typed as all Fortuner models having the said feature, and on the Hilux, its available only on the 4x4 model.

What is the brand of the head unit with DVD/ GPS? Is that also covered by warranty?

I'm not sure yet with the brand but the GPS map is provided/supported by iNav.

This is because I value engine/drivetrain the most, and I find the 1KD-FTV to be really good, with non-relenting pull all throughout the range. Haven't driven the VGT 4D56 but they say it's peaky. GLS-V vs 2.5G naman, there's still a big power difference, on top of having 1 less gear.

Oh, and the Fortuner looks better than the MS for me too.

Well, I agree that Fort looks better ... Although that will be subjective and relative to who is looking.

I bought an MS GLX NON-VGT anyway, being best bang for the buck at present time.
(Strada talaga gusto ni Misis, pero We come to a compromise agreement since price of Strada+carryboy is close to price of MS NON VGT)

I also hope that by the time I can replace my Elantra, New generations of Fortuner will place their computer box in a higher, more flood-secured location. No more need for comparison.
