Yes, Gem's99 is right. It is better to get the financing from the bank. It is much cheaper.
Regarding insurance, it is cheaper outside Toyota. But getting it from the dealer is more hazzle free when you have a claim. Here's what you can do. Have it quoted from a private insurer so you have a working idea of the insurance price. Then when get your car, tell them that you will get the insurance outside. You'll see they will give it at a lower price, but still a little higher. When I got another car, they quoted P 22,000 for the insurance (P 14,000 is the price outside) but I was able to get it at P 17,000 from them. When I met an accident, I just brought the car + the papers to them and not other questions asked. They repaired the car.
Good luck in buying your car.

September 20th, 2007 04:07 PM #3632thanks for the info. I'm still waiting for the Metrobank Car Loan approval. 23.05% for One Month Advance in 48 months. But it is affiliated with Toyota Manila Bay, so I'm hoping that whatever quotation that Q.Ave has provided me will also be granted in Manila Bay. 20k off in the DP, 18k for the insurance and standard freebies.
