Wait for the Lexus brand. It should look better. Same scenario as Infiniti G35 and Nissan Z.

Nah! Its a two door concept thats been seen and photographed at tne Nurenburg ring testing. It's still under wraps but with a Lexus name brand it should look better.

    Or this one:

    2007 Lexus LF-A

The thing is...its gonna be out of reach for a typical Lexus buyer * $150,000.

I think toyota is just looking for a halo sports car like the nissan skyline or acura nsx, which btw, will be replaced soon.

I didnt know they're replacing the NSX. From what i last read, they are discontinuing the NSX or replacement coz they lost money with that car. Not sure about the skyline though.

But its a good thing what Lexus is doing to up the ante...On the other hand, i think its too overpriced - remember when Acura came out with the NSX in 1990 * $50G's. Everyone raised their eyebrows. I still recall how the readers of Car&Driver, Road&Track and Motor Trend reacted - most of them were negative - and all were ???? how Acura could charge $50G for their car...

Now, its selling at $89G for the 2005 model - still think its overpriced and underpowered compared to its newer competitors.

Lexus should be a bit more conservative with their pricing for this car - the car seems much more refined but they're no Porsche - have you seen their resale value on their cars? Terrible.

I'm sure that will be interesting to see a comp between the three Japanese car builders.

The future of the NSX is uncertain but they did have a show car about a year ago that was dubbed the next nsx. I'll see if I can find a pic.

Japan still has a lot to catch up with the euro brands though. With regards to performance and style but I think their target market is much lower than those targeted by the euros. Although I am still perplexed on MB move to the smaller markets with the R and B versions. I think they should stick to what they know best.

Hahahha..i was just talking to my wife about that last night and this morning. My sister-in-law bought a 2004 C coupe last year which is about $28Gs

I just saw on the ad last night -
same car but its 2003 and its down to $20Gs.

Was browsing today and daw another ad -
again, same model, 2002 and its $14Gs.

Just over 2 years and it depreciated 50% already.

    Also saw a SL500 1999 for $19Gs.

Btw, skyline replacement will be in the form of a beefier G35 platform. Also seen testing at Nurenburg. You know what, I should have a vacation home in Germany next to the Nurenburg race track. Living next to the track means you get to see all the new and exciting sports car out there.
