why is A/T is a little much costy than M/T buying a brand new car
whats what with A/T than M/T?

July 16th, 2008 02:57 PM #2IMHO, its a matter of preference. I prefer an M/T, but I also drive 2 other A/Ts (ZZ and CVT Jazz).
A/Ts are mechnically more comlicated kaya mas mahal. A/T has some slight power loss.

July 16th, 2008 03:05 PM #3I have driven AT 2003 Camry, AT 1999 Revo and AT 2003 Vios. For MT I have driven 1999 Landcruiser and 1995 Corolla Bigbody. Mas gusto ko MT ng Toyota there AT is not very swabe (meaning medyo malakas yung shocks kapag nag shift gears) except for Camry which is very swabe more so than the Accord I think. Mas gusto ko AT ng Honda in general though.
And meledson already answered why AT is more expensive, because its more expensive to make than MT.
