    :D :D :D

Sana nga... looks good! Ano, Everest, Isuzu Adventure Master, tapos ito? But Toyota is planning to introduce the new Revo... this might intrude on its sales.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

e di ba yang hilux variant na yan is the SR5 Sportrunner in the US (drove one when i was there)? meron na ko nakita nyan sa Pinas e, subic lang nga yata. 5 seater, no 3rd row seats since there is little head room at the back.

unlike the isuzu adventure master, hindi gawang thai rung motors ito. this is marketed by toyota thailand

the everest came from thailand. then this and the isuzu adventure master. may nissan xciter pa nga na based on the nissan pickup platform. pero gawang thai rung rin yung xciter

pang tapat ito sa everest at iba ata ito sa new revo at sr5.

may bagong segment na create yung everest ah. something in between an AUV (revo, adventure crosswind) and the other 7 seater SUVs (suzuki xl-7, expedition, pajero, tahoe, etc) and based on current pickup platforms (but not like the montero and other 5 seater SUVs like trailblazer, RAV4, Grand Vitara, Sorrento, CRV, X-Trail, etc)

more choices for the budget tight car enthusiast so long as the price is right :D

Ang ganda... 'Yong rear view, parang revo na may cladding tapos inilagay ang spare tire sa rear end.

Andami ng choices, ang problema na lang budget... Pero nakakatuwa at dumadami ang mga models sa atin.

the front looks like a BMW with 4 noses... the lights at the back look like the ones from the evo mr...

but its still a lot better than the AUV looking AUVs we have now

I'm kind of digging this new class... sort of a "back to the basics" SUV class... something which has been severely lacking since the Americans forced the notion of the "Luxury SUV" on the rest of the world.

This is what SUVs are supposed to be... practical, roomy, and as dependable and fun off-road as they are on it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

danbuzz -- actually, hindi US spec ito or US model. this is a model being sold in thailand, just like the isuzu adventure master or the nissan xciter. i think this is for the asian market kaya lang so far, toyota is not selling this outside thailand

    hmmmm, bakit kaya

lets hope na darating itong model ito (or it supposed successor the "fortuner") and that it will be priced competitively with the everest

yung ford everest nga, thailand rin galing yun and it was marketed there first

ano kaya ang mayroon sa thai market na wala sa pilipinas? siguro, pera, hahahahaha :D

ang alam ko US platform yung model na yan. Sana nga pumasok ng Pinas pero i doubt it kasi mahal daw ang pag-import nun. Where did you hear about the fortuner?

Medyo OT pero hindi ba may 4Runner dito sa Pilipinas before? around 96 ko yata nakita sa mga showooms yun. I remember yun yung trip kong sasakyan dati. Bakit kaya na-discontinue yun dito?

The thai market is the biggest consumer of pick-up trucks (outside the U.S.) and of AUV's (in the whole region).

Malaki talaga ang auto market sa Thailand. That is why manufacturers can afford to have Thailand-specific models.
