whats is the normal idling if the aircon is off.. im experiencing an idle of 1000 rpm when AC is off and 800 rpm when AC in on. is this normal?

Should be 800 for without aircon and 1000 for aircon. 1800 fast idle.

Kailan pa ba nalinisan iyong throttle body, IACV ,MAF sensor mo . Kadalasan iyan ang mga problema marumi na .Pag nalinisan na iyan tataas ang idling mo at saka ngayon iaayos ang tamang timing ng makina mo at idling. kung sasabihin sa iyo may papalitan dito hindi basta nasisira iyan linis lang kailangan diyan.

Magtanong lang po. San po kaya best magpalinis nitong 3 na ito (throttle body, IACV ,MAF sensor), baka me mairerecomenda po kayo. Mine is a 96 Gli 1.6L Corolla, same din experience ko. Seems baligtad idling, 800rpm pag ON AC, then 1000rpm kapag AC OFF.

maybe your idle-up circuit is dead. this circuit causes an increase in idling rpm when the aircon is turned on, to compensate for the extra load the compressor brings on the engine. check the fuses. check for loose wiring or disconnected wiring about the carb of throttle intake/manifold area. bring the car to an aircon shop if you can't see what's wrong.
but it won't really cause catastrophic engine failure if you don't do anything real soon... as long as the battery is charged ok.
