Magkaiba po sila, the Tamaraw FX uses the 2C engine (2.0L) while the Revo is using the 2L engine (2.4L) which is also the same with Hilux pick-ups.
Salamat Sir Ungas, thanks for the info. ito kasing tropa dito nabanggit na kalampagin daw mga Tamaraw FX na Diesel kaya heto muntik ng nabago yung decision ko.
Kahit jurassic na ang design ng 2L proven naman ang durability and well suited pa sa Philippine environment.
Would you believe that it has more HP than that of Crosswind? Hindi nga lang kasing efficient.
Di naman sa kalampagin, but 2C engine are notorious for being a crap engine after few years of ownership. Original discs are 400/pair, while some owners do use the new 5 centavo coin as spacers, which will tend to produce more smoke if the original spces are not followed.
whew, actually i just closed the deal this morning, i bought a REVO GLX Diesel. ang hirap mag-decide he~he~he~ it took me 2 months gathering info. about Adventure/Revo/Hilander, mas palagay ako sa REVO dahil na rin sa nakatulong mga input nyo.
Thank you all....
:D
Congrats on your new ride!

Yung bagong modelo IFS hilux models have 3L.
I think 2L engines have 75 hp output, di ko na maalala yung engine specs.
Fuel Type: Diesel
Engine Model: 2L
Engine Design: 4-cylinder In-line, 8-valve, OHC Belt Drive.
Displacement (cc.): 2,446
Bore and Stroke (mm.): 92.0 x 92.0
Compression ratio: 22.2:1
Fuel Supply System Distribution type: Fuel Injection
Max. Output (PS/rpm.): 75 / 4,200
(kW/rpm.): 54 / 4,200
Max. Torque (Kg-m/rpm.): 15.4/2,400
(Nm/rpm.): 151/2.400
Once again Thank you all for the replies guys for answering all my queries in the past....Originally posted by Ungas

The 4x2 are no ponys either with a 2.5 liter diesel engine with more than enough power.
Maximum Output: 83Hp/4,200rpm
Maximum Torque: 162Nm/2,400rpm
I just clipped it from a Toyota website. Can't remember where or what it was from. :D
Here is the formula for HP, you can do the computations with the information gathered.
HP = (TORQUE x RPM) / 5252
English HP X 0.7457 = KW
KW X 1.341 = English HP
Metric HP (PS) X 0.7355 = KW
KW X 1.3596 = Metric HP (PS)
kg/m X 7.23 = ft/lb
ft/lb X 0.13831 = kg/m
kg/m X 9.807 = Nm
Nm X 0.10196 = kg/m
kg/hp X 474.28 = hp/ton
KM/h X 0.62137 = MPH
MPH X 1.6093 = KM/h
kg/mm X 55 = pounds/inch
pounds/in / 55 = kg/mm
