there's a "review" of the hybrid in autoindustriya.
but what i am looking for, is a review of the non-hybrid variant...
The flood concern for a hybrid is something that I personally consider an overthink.
If I'm in a sedan, hybrid or gas, I'm immediately wary of gutter deep waters. It doesn't matter if it has gas or electric motor inside powering the wheels. I may not cross the gutter high flood at all.
If it were a crossover, MPV or SUV, then we got some wiggle room in height. So gutter high, not a big deal for either.
So.. if it really is a big concern, get AOG Coverage for your vehicle, regardless of the model year? That's the only thing I think of that provides some form of safety net for the repairs needed.
Other than that, I think there will be issues if you really force a vehicle to cross more than it can handle.
I think hybrids are made to be more eco-friendly and to be less dependent on crude oil and not to lower the cost of owning a car.
Unless our govt gives huge tax cut to hybrids or electric vehicles, it shall be very difficult to break even or to offset the price difference.
