Mga Paps sorry sa noob question ko pero gusto ko kasi malaman kung pano maidentify kung ex-taxi ang corolla?
at kung ano mas maganda between 92/93 corolla xe at mitsu 92 singkit or mitsu 93 itlog. Thanks in advance.

pero kadalasan pag xtaxi makikita sa plaka may maliit na letter D sa gilid means duplicate,
pero hindi lahat ng may letter D na maliit sa plaka ay x taxi,,ung iba nawala lang kaya pina duplicate nila,

Usually kapag bago plaka baka ex-taxi or nawala kaya nagpagawa ng ibang plate number or yun nga meron D sa gilid...

Mas ok sa akin 93 model na xe toyota corolla power steering na, wag ka na mag singkit, or itlog nagka mitsubishi itlog ako 95 model gli nagloloko servo, yung menor ups and down pero yung carb. Type na itlog ok din hindi lang power steering kapag gli at glxi na model efi na yun merong computer box na.

Meron me now 94 toyota corolla xe... tipid sa gas ok na din performance, kaya lang medyo nakatapat nga hindi magandag mekaniko kaya di pa siya 100% ulet na performance...

Konting stretch na lang sa budget, kuha ka na lang ng GLi model ng corolla. all power na and mas matipid kasi EFI na. Sigurado ka pa na hindi ex taxi. Though may mga taxi din na GLi dati pero sobrang bihira. Pero be sure na orig GLi makukuha mo, hindi converted to GLi lang. Pano mo malalaman, sa chassis code sa firewall. GLi = AE101 dapat nagsisimula ang chassis code. Pag XE, XL EE100 nagsisimula chassis code. Pano mo naman malalaman kung ex-taxi? May nakalagay na "H" sa plaka. Or mas maganda ipa verify mo pa din sa LTO ang history ng oto.

look for one with no "D" on the number plate. yes, the seller can argue, but... i'm in no mood to argue. so, stay away na lang..
you can also ask LTO.
and i prefer gli dahil EFI na.. less hassle than carburatored..
taxis have to be less than 14 years old.. so, there are 2000 and older model ex-taxis on sale, masquerading as private cars..

remember that there are very good mechanics and body workers out there, that can make old cars seeming new again..

+1 Gli here. Yan ang 1st car ko. nabili ko pa nga ng 2nd hand pero satisfied naman sa overall performance. besides matipid sa gas ito smooth rin ang gear shifting ng A/T, di ito parang nagjejerk pag gear shifting unlike other car. okies din ang M/T. Best of all di hirap ang replacement parts at di rin taga ang presyo. Saan ka pa nyan.

Please be informed ts na hindi "D" ang indication na ex-taxi sya,
Kundi "H".. I dont know if it means for hire sya nuon, hired. Not really sure,
Pero H ang mark sa plate number ng vehicle na previously as a puv.
