Corona Silver Ed. Headlights,Etc.

Hi guys, this is my first thread ever. Just need to know what type of headlights does my 83 rona silver ed has, is it halogen or sealed type. Need to changed the bulbs kasi sobrang hina I barely can see sa gabi. If it is halogen can I just jump to philips diamond vision and the like. And besides Banaue or Evangelista where can I get cheap side mirrors for it since my left mirror is cracked, I reside here in Mambugan, Antipolo.

This is for my first ride that I bought out of my hard earned cash so even if they call it old and busted harness its my old and busted and still rockin harness! So I plan to get it restored (not really a purist here) slowly as well, so any tips, Do's and Don'ts, any inputs from our Masters is greatly appreciated

if memory serves me right, halogen type. does the silver ed. still have its 12R. if so you might want a 3T with a stroker kit and a 5 speed. the original engine was anemic for the body weight. check the underside for rust on the rail.

Thanks mate! mines got a bigger 18r and the prev owner/s changed the tranny to 5speed which makes me a bit lucky except for the FC side of things but managable naman since I work in Libis so kung pasok and uwi lang kaya naman but pagkasama gala with the kumander, ayus! alam na nakangiti na mga gas attendants! will fixed the rust pag maybudget na since El Nino pa at summner pa naman, kaya invest ng konti sa tires and lights for safety driving kaya trying to hunt for foglamps din. Thanks alot sir your memory is like a gold mine! So this means I can change the light bulbs straight up.

try mong maghanap kay SAULO dun sa mindanao ave. sa Qc maraming pinoy surplus na lumang sasakyan yun or else mag subscribe ka na lang dito sa mga site na'to baka sakaling mahanap mo ang headlight na para sa silver edition mo.

yung signal light na nasa ilalim ng front bumper ang pinapalitan ng driving lights. the 18R is a good engine. the 18RG kicked ass seriously. check the fuel pump because the membrane had a tendency to rupture and gasoline went straight to the oil sump. you would not even see any leaks when it happened. jdm colors were two tone silver bottom and metallic dark tones for the top half.
