Any leads regarding the toyotas used during the apec summit? We're interested in getting a unit. As far as i know, they offer discounts when they sell them to the public. Any info will be welcome. THanks

if the vehicles are owned by the government, shouldn't there be some bidding for the better price?

Usually those cars are offered to close friends and preferred clients of the company first before being offered to the public.

My friend got his APEC 5-series for just a little over 3M. Of course, he has half a dozen other BMWs so he was given preferential option on the discounted APEC units.

From what I've seen, only BMW has made official announcements regarding APEC vehicles. They were advertised at 1.5 - 2m off list for the 520d and the 730d.

Nissan and Toyota, those will probably go as secondhands.

I have *no idea* what Mercedes is doing.

That's kind of against the requirements of APEC... the vehicles were supposed to be brand-spanking new when used by the delegates, from my understanding.

as for the NV300 urvans, halos lahat ng nakita ko may Europcar stickers sa rear windshield. so i would presume binili na ni Europcar lahat yun
