hello guys... my corolla (lovelife) is in need of the following parts:

    Front Shock Absorbers (Gas Type)
    Rack End
    Tie Rod End
    Ball Joints
    Front Wheel Bearing
    Wheel Hub (optional daw)
    Wheel Seal (optional daw)

medyo may tama na kasi kaya needs to be replaced... asap. i need 2 of each siguro... front lang kasi papalitan. i hope you can help me guys! baka you know shops (in banawe?) na padali puntahan where i can get a good deal sa aftermarket (brand new, reliable) brands na di gano masakit sa bulsa. sobrang mahal kasi ng original toyota parts... those parts would cost 35k++ daw OEM sa quotation ng toyota. hay...

    thanks in advance guys!

if budget is an issue, just bring your car to zee or cruven.
but the 35k++ price that you've stated is a "casa" price. most probably, its a bit cheaper if you get OEM parts outside, and just let zee or cruven install them for you. that is if you want to use brand new OEM parts. zee or cruven would just only repair your damaged parts to make them on a "like new" condition. may warranty din sila so hindi ka lugi. pag kukuha ka kasi ng OEM parts outside, malamang walang warranty.

1D4LV: sir can they repair those damaged parts provided i come to them early? just in case po, how can i contact them?

170kphlang and enzo18: yung shop po ba na sinasabi niyo as in original talaga na toyota parts? kasi po if that's the case i-contact ko na rin po. do you have that shop's contact numbers?

iba parin po kasi talaga pag oem... kasi yung corolla ko po was just handed down to me by my erpats... we bought it brand new, recently lang nagpahiwatig yung pang-ilalim na they need to be replaced na after more or less 7 years of use. pero ok din aftermarket parts just as long as may quality and di gano masakit sa bulsa...

    thanks!

    ang dami papalitan ha...

toyota shocks are very tough... revo ng erpat ng misis ko binili nung '02-'03 palaging binabiyahe sa samar (bad roads) hanggang ngayon walang kalampag. may konti lang alog sa tie rods i guess. ditto for my wife's corolla lovelife. bought '99 up to now walang kalampag. matagtag lang ng konti... maybe better tyres will cure that.

are you sure lahat yan sira? or hit and miss chambahan ang gagawin ng tech mo? if you want to save, try going to criven or zee, just like everyone said... short term savings are fantastic while you make ipon for oem parts as polymer repair sa joints aren't as long lasting as high quality replacements. pero if you don't regularly go through bad roads, those injected joints could in theory last years. had my civic's ball joints repaired there in '04, nung kinalas ng servitek nung '06 mahigpit pa.

i'd recommend shock repair sa cruven din. it works and it's cheap and long lasting, BUT, the finished product repaired by cruven i found to be stiffer than the original. up to you if you wanna go this route.

guys i finally got a quotation on some parts...

Shock Absorbers (Gas Type) = P2000 each (Kayaba)
    Rack End = ?
    Tie Rod = P280 (555 Japan)
    Tie Rod Bar = P650 (555 Japan)
    Ball Joint = 670 (555 Japan)
Wheel Bearing = P450 Front; P1050 Rear (Japan)

ok lang po ba yung brands? what about the price, ok lang po kaya or mataas? got that quotation from Banawe Autosupply. Thanks po!

Your 555 parts prices are okay - same price in toyota autoparts store (in alabang). Just find a good credible shop when you have them installed - yung iba kasi kabit lang ng kabit without measuring the previous parts -

pag pansin mo may kabig after installation, ipa toe-in toe-out mo sa mga goodyear or yokohama shops - mura lang yon... ang mahal ang camber.
