not really "OK", but more of, "what it might buy".

    2005-2006.
    probably gas.
    probably MT.
but hey! there's always someone trying to get rid of their perfectly-running innova, to make space for their new car.
    "tiyaga at tiyamba lang po."

Sold my 2007 Innova J dsl for 340k last March.

    By looking at your budget,
2004-2008 E,G,V variant would be the best pick

If you want a newer model, you might want to look at the gasoline models
    2010-2012 J-E variant
You might be lucky if you find a diesel E variant at 500k

    Good luck on your purchase.

    innova arrived 2005, i think.
scv? i nevair had such problems... although, i vaguely remember toyota advising me that they would be replacing something under the hood, free.
    otherwise, painless ownership.
well, not counting that alternator bearing issue... and the easy-theft spare tire..

2005-2008 model yung may problem sa SCV.

E d4d 2005 namin meron niyan. Also a relative's 2007 fortuner had the same problem. 10k ata replacement noon 2015.

    Symptoms:
-hard starting or worse, hindi na aandar talaga
    -choking
    -namamatayan sa kalsada

Less than 24hrs after I posted it, I had been receiving calls and messages. The guy you bought it insisted that he would go to bulacan to check the car even if I told him that the car would be brought to QC on Friday. Guy wanted to pay the car on the spot na kaso we were busy and still had to look for the papers. The Guy picked it up on Friday morning and insisted that we dont clean the car anymore.

Also gave him my bike rack..

    Issues were
    Aircon needs cleaning
    Faded roof
    Yellowing headlights
Cracked on the tailight but I gave him my un installed replacement tailight

Dr d is right, chances are... Gas variant MT, with your budget.

Up your budget a bit if you want a diesel. It will be well worth it.

Innova is like a tank, it's "bullet proofed". My 2014 Innova is a Grab car. At 150t kms, driven 12-16hrs a day... The only things I've replaced are the clutch kit, brake pads, rotor disc's, timing belt... I haven't owned any other car as durable as my "Inna".

To boot, the Innova is more fuel efficient than my Accent Diesels

    I just bought 2 2019s this week.

Malaki ba difference ng fuel efficiency ng accent diesel and innova 2kd?

    Innova P500-600/day
    Accent P700-800/day

Both 180-250km, 14-16hrs drive per day

Ergo, if Grab use... Very significant. Not so if private use as you won't really "feel" the difference with like 20km trips to and from residence and office.

Ang laki pala ng difference kahit sabihin na 200 a day yung difference kapag ganyan katagal yung engine operation. All along akala ko mas fuel efficient parin accent diesel due to its smaller engine then stuck pa sa traffic..

BTT: Usually nakikita ko 400k budget is gas engine talaga. Our company sold our previous family-owned innova (2006 d4d mt) for 250k. Sa lagay na yan kakapalit lang brand new injectors and replaced yung clutch system (all original). Selling it na palugi kasi yung body panels hindi na masyadong maganda.

innova was first introduced in 2005... that time i decided to take the gas variant coz gas and diesel price difference is only 3 pesos.
sold it after 12 years with no issues... neighbor ko rin yung bumili at di na tinawaran sa presyong 350k iirc.
so true that innova is built to last... but my next toyota might be the grandia tourer or SG whichever come first
