    Pls respong asap... My hilux got drowned up to head unit level so everything is broken atm...

    Now I have been told that it has a computer box(which costs 50k estimated) since the hazard lights went on while under water, but then i have another source who says that diesel cars dont have computer boxes. Now until now i havent gotten any confirmation..

    I need to get back and help my neighbors now... more power!

    AFAIK modern cars all have computer boxes.

    Your Hilux has a ECU or computer box connected to the engine.

    Older diesel vehicles with simple diesel engines don't have ECUs.

    Nearly all of the modern diesel fed vehicles on the market use electronically controlled diesel engines for better performance and better emissions.
