yung mga nakikita kong GRANVIA is 3.0D, can someone confirm if this is D4D already?

overall, mukhang promising ang external style nito, much like the Starex coz may nguso na sya.

baka may lumabas ng manual...do you think guys the 2 toyota vans is much better than ford/mazda bongo/ferdee? or delica?

for me, local settings natin, delica is the most reliable, even the delica spacegear (4m40-->timing chain na!)..parang pajero+van in one...being a former delica owner, downside lang ng delica is fuel consumption, particularly sa matics...matakaw(5-9km/l lang...) pero sa piyesa, conversion, tibay-->delica 4wd parin.

guys... i would recommend you to buy the Granvia... ndi naman kamahalan ung parts niya and makikita mo un sa banawe... sa power ok siya lakas humatak... it can do 190 km/h kahit ganun siya kalaki stable siya kahit ganun kabilis and sa ganung speed ung rpm niya ndi pa aabot sa red line... great engine you just need to take care of it and do a regular basis ng change oil.. sa fuel economy matipid siya.. it has 100 liters na tank. ok ung suspension niya. sa aircon sometimes may kailangan ka pa ipaayos dahil ung climate control sa Japan 25 or 26 lang yata kaya kailangan mo paayos kung ganun... pero over-all nitong van na toh... VERY NICE... ung sa akin ayos pa hanggang ngaun 3 years na siya sakin... un nga lang like every japanese cars na converted hirap sa side mirrors...

I'm gonna dig up this thread... I wonder if there are any Tsikoteers who are Granvia owners? The Elgrand thread is bustling with activity but there hardly seems to be anything on the Granvia, despite more of these on the road.

Ours is a 1997 model 4x2 with 160tkms on the clock.

I replaced my steering rack dahil kulang sa kabig yung pa-kanan. Mechanic couldn't say from what car the surplus rack it came from, only that it came from a Toyota van. Cost me 8500 including labor. I haven't brought it to the mountains yet, but the low end grunt is definitely good. Ran 140km/h*3000rpm at NLEX southbound after Bocaue tollgate. Metro Manila city driving FC is really dismal. Just 4km/L. How do you manage 8?

I've replaced most of the front suspension, had a major aircon repair/reconversion job, repainted the faded and at parts rusted roof, repaired the alternator... The list goes on.

Hope to know kung anu rack sana have the same issue na maliit ang kabig sa left skin ang nakakabit skin kc pang nissan serena,
Usual check lng nmn aq on oils lalo s tranny, its a powerful engine, awd b? Skin kc nakatanggal n un front wheel drive....
    On parts i changed;
Alternator - repair lng it cost me 1200 pti labor sa harap ng jaka plaza s sucat
    - and yes nagpalit n q compressor 9k lahat but dat was just a few months ago so parang nasulit q nmn un ac kc sobrang lamig
    - suspension mabigat ngpalit aq upper lower tierod cost me 15k on my 85k km narin
Wala p q nggwa on engine and tranny...

I hope to know more about ideas regarding rack...

I replaced my rack, and it now steers just like any other original LHD car. Of course the place where I had it done is in Metro Manila, if you're interested...

For the suspension, I've replaced left and right upper arms and the left lower arm. Cost me 15k for that. I also changed the front shocks and rear springs. 6500 for that.

Replaced the alternator's rectifier and rotor. That was 3400.

Reconverted all the A/C tubing in the dashboard, had a thorough cleaning and replaced the leaking cooling coil. 24k.

Around 4km/L in Metro Manila traffic.

Saan ba kayo? Dito kami sa QC area and I usually have the van maintained at Class A Motorcraft or Big 3, both along Retiro near Banawe.
