2010 Land Cruiser Prado

While Toyota has already revealed an updated version of its larger Land Cruiser V8 (also known with the 200 moniker) in 2007, the smaller, latest generation Land Cruiser 3- and 5-door models that are sold in some markets as the Land Cruiser Prado, haven't changed much since their initial introduction. But today, a set of photographs, supposedly showing the facelifted 2010 Land Cruiser Prado, appeared on an Arabic Toyota enthusiast forum.

We only have the front and back ends to go by, but chances are there won't be any changes to the Land Cruiser's profile. Compared to the current model (pictured on the right), the SUV featured here gets a reworked fascia that appears to adopt styling cues from Toyota's latest European models like the Avensis. At the back, the Land Cruiser Prado boasts a new set of tail lights plus a revised tail gate design.

It remains to be seen if the vehicle featured in these photos is indeed the facelfited 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser.

In Europe, the current Land Cruiser is offered with two engine options, a 4.0-liter V6 petrol with 249 horsepower and a 3.0-liter turbo diesel that makes 173 horsepower.

the big toothy grille may take some time to get used to... the headlights remind me of the Altis.

I disagree in terms of the looks. It looks like something that Geely, Great Wall Motors, etc.. would make. How disappointing.

It looks the next generation prado not just a facelifted. I think its a bit shorter than the current.

hope the interior design will match to its competitors... the current model seems to feel like a Fortuner, which is not reasonable for a PHP2.8M+ price...

Too clunky for me. Reminds me of the altis. I think the LC100 looks much better.

more great improvements on prado esp in design. im sure they'll be using a v6 & a d4d ( 6cylinder hopefully) engine to set apart from the fortuner. the curves just gets better. and finally, a liftgate for the rear door. thats what i really like!

More than changing the look of the Prado, I hope Toyota Motors will take a look at the DASHBOARD problems of Prado 2003-08... It CRACKS ALL OVER!!! I have compared it with 4 other units and its all the same. After 3 years the dashboard starts cracking.

with the LC200 at more or less P4.5M++ (TMPC), would that be a wiser purchase instead or still go for the 2010 Prado?

Gud pm...one sales agent told me that a new prado will be out on august...is this the one? My dad really likes prado but we also saw the 2010 pajero and patrol...what do you think will be the best buy? help please...thank you...
