    from motioncars.com:
The Revo will probably follow the path of the Everest and Adventure Master in building an AUV/SUV body on a pickup chassis. The new Revo will look considerably sleeker, almost like the 4Runner. Engine choices will be a 2.5 or a 3-liter diesel, with the top version pumping out 125 bhp and a robust 315 Nm.

mas economical para sa mga manufacturers yung ginagawa nila ngayon. building an AUV on existing pickup platforms.

This unit is already being sold in Thailand if i'm not mistaken.

just can't remember the name they use down there.

This is very similar to the 4-runner.

ewan ko kung tama yung badge na nakita ko. they ae selling it as a pre-runner. Pickup base talaga naka- leaf spring sya di tulad ng 4-runner naka-coil spring. Medyo matag-tag sya, yung friend ko meron sya dito sa Thailand... I am not an AUV fan pero kung eto ilalabas niila.. pwedeeee!!!!

Sport Runner or Z-Ace Surf ata ang name nito sa ibang markets. Also called the Toyota Kijang.

Medyo lumang engine na din naman yun 3.0 nila. Gamit pa sa LC70 Prado yan diba? Siguro hindi na siya ganon kamahal nowadays. Sana.

    sikuya,

this is probably not based on the Prado/4Runner platform... more likely, the Hilux (which I think is the same as the U.S. Tacoma?) platform.
