just want to know what car is more fuel efficient: vios 2007 1.3 which has a smaller engine but heavier weight or yaris 1.5 which has a bigger engine but lighter weight. thanks.....

June 11th, 2008 09:31 AM #2I do not have any figures, but I am guessing that the 1.5 yaris with a lighter body will have a better FC. I am assuming that both cars have vvti engines and they are diven the same.

June 11th, 2008 10:34 AM #3The Vios isn't any heavier than the Yaris. The 1.5 Yaris AT lists at 1080. The base Vios 1.5 lists at 1075... it's a fair bet the Vios 1.3 is even lighter.
The Vios will be more fuel efficient in almost any situation.
