strange noise sa fortuner , any help ?

Hi Guys,

To give you background, my ride is 10 months old, 2011 fortuner, 2.7 vvti Automatic transmission, and just 2,888 kms

kanina kasi while driving sa SLEX, super traffic so stop and go yung traffic cguro 1 hour until i reached the corner of quirino and SLEX so yung pag left ko syempre slow down ako until maka straight na ako sa quirino then accelerate na ...i immediately noticed pag apak ko sa gas pedal ng nasa 1.5 rpm ( speed is around 30-40 kph ) may maririnig na napakalakas na ugong or vibrate sa loob ng car (parang rrruuuuuuuuunnnnnggggggg yung sound ) and im not sure if sa makina or ilalim ng car .... but once na nalampas na yung 1500 rpm umabot na ako sa 2,000 rpm nawawala na yung ugong, if binitaw ko ng konti yung paa ko sa gas pedal to return sa 1,500 rpm ndi naman bumabalik yung ugong na sound so the strange loud vibrate sound does not happen all the time kaya mahirap i diagnose if ever iiwan ko ulit sa toyota ...

i notice the strange loud vibrate sound appears on the following

1) Engine is Hot and exhaust is hot too because the sound only appears when driver for 30 min - 1 hour
2) Only comes out at exact 1,500 rpm but should be in speeds around 30-40 but it does not come out all the time
3) the sound is so irritating na maririnig ng passengers but cannot pinpoint the exact location, may isa lang na nagsabi na parang sa ilalim ng gearbox nangagaling ( underchassis )
4) Nothing wrong with the engine since if mabilis takbo mga 80-100 smooth naman takbo ng makina and tahimik and wala din check engine na warning light.
5) the strange sound only came out after mga 8 months of ownership.

nadala ko na sa toyota once but cannot produce the damn sound ( bakit ba parati ganun ? ) so SA told me to observe further daw and that ndi daw super alarming yung case ko and that wait na lang ako until 5k kms and personally look for him para cya mag supervise ng pag check..

by the way wala akong pinamodify sa fortuner ko, all stock except dun sa kinakabit sa chrome muffler na para magmukhang malaki pero dinouble check ko na din ito na mahigpit pagkakabit so ndi pwede mangaling ang sound dito, spare tire is also tight

ito mga hinala ko ...

1) propeller shaft ? ano purpose ngeto
2) sa exhaust system (underchassis) ko may lumuluwag ba na turnilyo dun causing it to vibrate hard if driven for 1 hour na ?

what do you guys think ?

kung tunog kaldero siya na nagbabanggaan, check the hood catch. eto yung rubber na naiikot sa loob ng hood. Na encounter ko to sa Fort ko dati. Kala ko underchassis. Yun pala iikot ko lang yun. Same symptoms as yours. Pag mabilis, nawawala.

Ano nangyare sa ride nyo? Ndi nakaikot ng maayos or ndi nakadikit ng maayos yung rubber?
Ill check baka nga sa hood pero basta tunog bakal yung vibrate nya ndi tunog plastic so im hoping yun nga yun

dumaan na ba sa mataas na baha fort natin sir?

Yup dumaan na once na medyo mataas na baha pero below stepboard level pero sandali lang yung habagat. I also noticed the strange sound appeared mga 1 week after yung nadaan sa baha pero i was thinking diba ok lang pang baha ang fort natin?
