June 24th, 2009 05:21 PM #2I'm not sure if its given to her or given to the gov't. But usually hybrids from manufacturers are turned over to the DENR for evaluation.

June 25th, 2009 09:10 AM #3i had test driven it when i was in college, back in 2005 (if i remember); i was lucky to be picked one of the 25 students to attend an immersion program provided by TMP with our school. according to one of the conductors of the said program, who is also working in TMP, only 2 units of Gen.1 Prius are in our country. one was given to the government from TMP (for evaluation purposes), yung isa in-house study car sa Sta. Rosa Plant.

June 25th, 2009 09:45 AM #4When Proton was launched in the Phils., i recall the gov't of FVR being gifted a unit as well and was probably included in the Malacanang motorpool..
