    Hi Guys!

I'll just use the owner's manual as reference for things I have to inspect, replace or lubricate.
Tapos regular change oil interval (5,000kms which is 6 months for us).
Then good quality oil filter (Baldwin ako ngayon).

Anyway, any tips from owners of non-casa maintained vehicles?

Vios sa kin, since I know it reliable at di kailangan warranty, sa labas na ko Nagpapa PMS. May checklist naman sa manual. After those horror stories about CASA.

Our Innova Gas A/T,- sa Shell Gas Station sa labas ng village namin ang PM niya every 5KKm, since its 10KKm mileage.

It is now 35KKm and six years old....

Our cars, after 20,000kms or 30,000km are serviced outside the CASA. I follow the requirements on the owner's manual and i always use original Toyota parts (usually bought from Toyorama) unless the replacement part is of better spec (i.e. Baldwin oil filter).

We go to Shell lube service for common PMS for our Innova since it came out of warranty (change engine oil, transmission oil, gear oil, filters, undercoat). Same with cabin filters.

Once pa lang ako nagpalinis ng aircon at a trusted shop in Banawe. Nagpaservice lang ulit ako sa Casa when I got the SCV replaced. Basta vital parts I go for OEM. May schedule naman sa manual to follow.

75k plus kilometers on my odo, no problems encountered naman. Next replacement will be the shock absorbers.

Kahit tiga-Maynila naman, relatively harder to get Baldwin filters. In my case (and as with CB), nag hohoard nalang kami for the next few change oils.

That was what i did recently, 40K service. I just bought original Toyota gear oil and cabin filters, and my suking tindahan did the rest. I use a K&N drop-in for the air filter (more for longevity than anything else) and Baldwin oil filter elements (which i have to order again since pa-deplete na yung hoard ko nito).

Have a Gen 3 vios and is now nearing its 5K check up. Might be sticking with casa until 10k PMS then sa labas na lang. With a similar query from earlier post would like to know car service shops that offer lube and some mechanical jobs in cavite area.

You just have to bring your own oil, yung filter nila is bosch.

Try mo maghanap ng Goodyear Servitek within your area. Usually kaya nila basic PMS jobs.

My brother's ride is a toyota avanza. Out of warranty and it has not been to a pms for more than a year now. Can someone refer to me your suking non casa shop for maintenance and a checklist of what to replace? Its a gas fed m/t. We also lost our manual/pms cheklist. Thanks. Anywhere near cavite would be better. 👌

    my bottomline...
if you know what needs to be done, and you are willing and able to mando mando the workers on how to do it, then you should have little problem outside the casa.
but if you do not know what needs servicing and checking, you are probably better off in the casa..
