I went to Bangkok last week and I saw on some auto magazines there that Toyota is planning to bring the Aygo Hatchback in the ASEAN Regions. It is said that it will compete in the econo hatchback category.

Nice looking sub-compact.... but, if ever, how will this be marketed in view of the existing Toyota Yaris?
For it to be affordable, it should be made in Thailand.I saw on some auto magazines there that Toyota is planning to bring the Aygo Hatchback in the ASEAN Regions.
Currently the Toyota Aygo is only being manufactured in the Czech Republic by "Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech ", a joint venture between Toyota and PSA Peugeot Citroën.
prediction ko....nasa....Php530,000 yan or lower.
kung tumaas pa ng kaunti yan mag vios ka na lang.
IMO, it should be LOWER!!! 530k is still in the Vios 1.3 J territory at 575k considering it is coming from thailand. it wont be too much of value for money... lets say... uhm... 415k to 440k range (back in 1992-93 a new Corolla XE was in this price range!!!! sheeesh!!! how prices went up talaga) then hyundai getz, chevrolet spart and kia picanto will start to have sleepless nights!

if that's going to happen, then it will be a good competitor against the Chevy Spark, Kia Picanto and Suzuki Alto.![]()
This is good. It would be interesting to see a Toyota counterpart of the Picanto, Getz, Spark, or even QQ. Wonder lang where the gauges are located. . center dash pa rin kaya?
