If you ask me, I will shift at 5k rpm (or higher) when I hit the open road. Open up the throttle and try to hit peak power every shift.

March 6th, 2020 12:53 AM #12Owned one for 5 years. If you accelerate gently, it will shift around 2000 rpm. But the acceleration is really slow. Even if you are gentle, fuel consumption is quite high, around 7 km/l in the city.
If you want fast, step on the gas harder without releasing until you want to shift up. The car will easily surge forward. As long as you step aggressively, the shift will occur at higher rpm.
