    Guys whats the purpose of the waste gate attached to the turbo of innova D4D??

    What if it fails to work what will happen to the engine?

    It vents or bleeds off excess boost pressure. If it fails and sticks closed, the turbo will produce more boost, which may or may not damage the turbine and/or the engine. If it fails and sticks open, then the engine will not produce as much boost as normal and will feel very sluggish at higher rpms.
