well, the toyota is the default ("bukang bibig", no-brainer, etc.) (used) car brand... and, in this instance, it's also newer.
i suppose it's also more expensive, because of the above.
condition of the used car is also a major factor to consider.

so what will i get? all things being equal, altis.
more popular.. more parts.. cheaper parts..

Have 07 altis. Pero AT ung akin. Very satisfied. One thing you have to be cautious with, ung AC. Lalo na kung denso ang oem. Not only marami ng naka experience ng issues, napaka hirap ipagawa kasi pag denso baklas dashboard.
Pero pag napa ayos or in good condition, napaka lamig. Daming pumupuri sa ac ko kahit na mas bago auto nila. Giniginaw daw sila sa lamig minimum setting pa.

Altis 04-07 definitely. Better insulation and safety features. It's one generation newer. A 99-00 VTEC is still the EK body; although it's light and easy to maintain too, you're looking at car that's nearly two decades old in design.

Tama, 5 stud rim na rin.

Wala pa ako car, nakakalito talaga, pero kung enthusiast ka naman ng honda mag EK ka.

Unlimited upgrades = GASTOS. malaki magagastos mo sa EK para mapaganda.

and kung ****BOY ka , go for an EK.

Kung GENTLEMAN ka, go for the ALTIS.

Kahit pa lowered mo ng konti and put bigger rims Ganda parin ng comfort.

How about comparison on the transmission MT vs AT of the aforesaid altis models? Hindi ba sirain ang AT ng altis compared sa civic 04-05 models nito? Thanks in advance.

I have an 02 1.8G Altis. Kahit classic 4AT siya napakaganda sumibat. Toyota pa rin for me.
