1995 corolla GLi help

guys, our gli is having a problem, 5th gear at 3,000 rpm our speed is only 80 km/hr, usually 100km/h . nagpalit na kami ng clutch pati release bearing pero ganun pa din? any advise po? Thanks in advance

at this age of the car, maybe your speedometer cable is dry and not indicating the true vehicle speed? try removing the instrument cluster head and carefully pull the speedo cable out. once out, lubricate the cable with a suitable lubricant such as GL4/5 or motor oil as you reinsert the cable to the tube.

tnx po sir, medyo duda nga din ako dahil wala naman akong naramdaman na under power ung kotse nagtaka lang ako bakit nasa 80kph lang ang takb0, try ko sir ung advise nyo tnx po ulit
