Nag-Visita Iglesia kami kahapon.

Hehe.

    .

Expect traffic to increase on Saturday as the malls open. ,

I also used to go to the Manila area with my dad when he was still alive as he enjoyed the easy drive and taking the time to reminisce with no hustle and bustle.

Yung traditional Visita Iglesia namin allowed us to roam around the streets of Manila. My father was greatly disappointed how dirty and crowded Manila is, now.

Kagabi, while I was driving and him seating on the passenger seat reminiscing, nagkkwento siya about his experiences around Manila. Where he got jailed, kung saan sila tumatambay, nagsisine and the likes. From his stories, malalaman mo talaga na how beautiful the streets of Manila were before. Sayang.

In my observation, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are the most stress and traffic free days of the year, it's so refreshing to use our road during these days.

Also Christmas and New Year can be considered stress free on the road when everyone else has left the city... Drove from Quezon Avenue to BGC using EDSA in 15 minutes, sweet...

Went to Tagaytay Highlands today and it took us only 1 hour 15 minutes from Libis, I took the back door though, the Batino exit from SLEX which leads you up to Tagaytay Midlands and from there it will lead up to Highlands, my in-laws also took the same route going to Highlands this afternoon, yun nga lang pagbaba they took Sta Rosa, ayun naipit sila sa may People's park for more than an hour.

Kahapon naman we went to Subic, was stuck in Edsa (Congressional to Balintawak cloverleaf) for about 45 minutes, then another 40 minutes until we finally reached Balintawak toll plaza, then got stuck again for 30 minutes at the entrance of SCTEX. Grabe! was so drained when we got home last night at around 11:30pm

Someone should just shoot and kill all of those drivers... seriously. Or maybe i-kidnap natin tapos dalhin sa Cutod sa Pampanga para ipako sa krus (using rusted nails).

I also take that Batino exit always except when its night time already. If you go often also, having a sticker to the Filinvest development there will save you some time as well as you avoid the humps and villages at the start of the Batino road.

During heavy travel periods, i sometimes take the Angeles then go through the Clark Exit instead of the SCTEX-NLEX toll plaza; in fact going to Subic i also take the old highway from San Fernando which is wider now. I was running at 120-140kph between San Fernando and Lubao Thursday afternoon; all open.

April 5 and 6. The only two days out of 365 days wherein wala nag-double/triple park sa harap ng Serenitea Banawe at 5pm noon
