Honest Lady Owner of white Mazda 323 W_Z-968

This morning, I passed by Mega Mall to withdraw from BPI ATM. When I went inside the booth, there's a lady transacting on the left most side ATM. I used the 1st ATM near the door (I think there were 3 or 4 ATMs). The other machines were vacant.

When I inserted my card in the machine, I noticed she went out then came back to the machine. Then she asked me if there's a security guard manning the bank. I looked around and answered, "there's nobody in sight" and asked her "why?"

She replied that she found a bag left on top of the machine and she'd endorse it to the guard. I asked her to look what's inside - an i-pod and a cellphone. Then I requested her to call anybody from the cellphone's phonebook and tell him/her to contact the owner.

While she's trying to call, the owner arrived asking for the bag. She then gave it to him and he thanked her.

If you were the finder, would you:

1. Endorse it to the guard, if there's a guard on duty
2. Contact anybody from the phonebook to tell him/her to contact the owner to contact you.
3. Wait a little longer hoping that the owner would return.
4. Keep it?

I would do no. 3 then 2.

i would just leave the bag alone.. just stare at it a few meters away then if someone managed to pick it up il asked him/her first if she owns the bag.. makikita mo naman sa kilos kung sa kanya o hindi yung bag.. being safe.. mamaya modus operandi or anything else.. worst is baka mamaya bomba pala laman..:boom1:.. :evillaugh

Err...not all the time. Hinde naman lahat ng guards eh masama. Marami din naman honest guards, like marami din naman honest policemen. Trouble is, we often generalize i.e. policeman/security guard = not an honest person.
