    1. Spark plug fouling - due to incorrect spark plugs installed in our celerios. This results in poor starting, acceleration and fuel consumption. Change to OEM NGK iridiums available in TCP.

    2. Engine noise - This is tolerable but mainly you will notice this once in a while as our engines are run by timing chain and not belts. robust in design and longevity-wise it is more durable. Most common wear for timing chains are the sprockets.

    3. Cabin filter - Change this every 10k possibly so that dirt in your blowers gets filtered properly and clean air comes in.

    4. Oil - After reaching 1kms to 1.5kms, change to 5w30 or 5w40 oils as recommended in your manuals. Preferable brands are Motul, Royal Purple and the likes. Lighter oil is designed for fuel economy and our cars are built to run with these oils.

    5. Brake pads - our stock pads are designed based on OEM specs but if you really want stopping power, use Bendix pads available in TCP for upgrades. You will notice the difference between how far your car stops running at 60kpm, for example, to complete halt. Sometimes, hindi agad kumakagat yung stock pads and better alternative is to switch to performance pads. Safety first, above all. (or drive safely)

    6. Burning rubber smell - This is normal for new cars when your rev at high speeds exceeding 3.5k rpm. The best way to break-in your celerio is to run the engine real hard. (like racers do). It will go away sooner than you think.

    7. Aircon - there were factory issues recently that Maruti had released on aircon thermistors. Nawawala yung lamig but as soon as these manifests, go to the nearest casa and have them create a report so they can replace it for you, FREE of charge.

    8. Poor tire inflation - results to more fuel consumption and tire wear. Use nitrogen when filling, 39 psi front and 36 psi rear as eco pressures. Don't believe in those people that says 30 lang dapat, check your manual...that's the recommended tire pressure. Max pressure of your stock tires is 51 psi.

Sobra yan. Ako nga in my corolla & civic 30-31psi lang eh. Both 15's, celerio pa kaya. Liit ng gulong.

36 or 39 psi tire pressure talbog na ang gulong sa kalsada nyan.

Dapat sundin na lang ang pressure na recommended/stipulated dyan sa driver side door. IMHO

Wala ba yang slot sa may gearbox na accessible with a screwdriver? May susundutin duon para ma-unlock ang kambyo.

I don't have a celerio but I think that override is standard sa lahat ng matic.
