December 7th, 2012 08:51 PM #11Thank you 12vdc, I will try to ask around if this rear differential gear assembly is available in the salvage
yard or as a surplus parts but I know it won't be easy to find one. Suzuki parts also have to order this
carrier sub assembly in Japan and will take about 45 days according to them. Price is 125,921.00 Php !
The shop told me to bring the apv back to them after one month to check if they need to re-adjust
the pinion and ring gear. I feel that the shop may have adjusted the pinion and ring gear a little tight?
It's hard to find an auto repair shop or machine shop that specialize in fixing the differential or propeller
shaft here. The auto shop here can replace all the bearings in the differential assembly but I am not
sure they have the instrument and experience to accurately return it to specs.
Since I use the apv everyday to take the kids to school and only run four kilometers a day with
speed below 40 kph. The noise or sound is hardly noticed.
I red this in the web and I think this might be the problem in my apv's differential.

If this is the problem, the pinion and ring gear can be ordered at Suzuki parts and will cost about
37,382.00 Php. They say it would take three days to order the parts.
Anyway, I am still observing the sound and just enjoy driving the apv at the moment.
Happy weekend to everybody, thank you.
Yikes that(tesla) is even worse although upon some additional reading i'm not even sure our Seagull...
